My experience at the Women’s March

I had never been to a march before or even a rally. I have always voted and even campaigned for Martin O’ Malley when he ran for governor of Maryland. Yet, I was never an activist, until, Saturday when I walked in the Women’s March in D.C.

I marched with my sister, brother, and brother-in-law. We marched for our rights that are in danger of being taken away. We marched for a woman’s right to choose and equal pay. We marched for our brother and his husband to protect Same Sex Marriage. We marched for unity. We marched to move this country forward, not back. From what I experienced at the Women’s March, I am confident that we are not going back but moving forward.

Here are a few pics from the march.
